There is this big misconception that all makeup products that are inexpensive either don’t work or work badly. False! While I do agree that there are certain “cheap” products that don’t work as well as the more expensive brands, that doesn’t mean all drugstore makeup is crap. I’ve personally tested out each of these items and wouldn’t recommend anything if I didn’t think it was a quality product.
While us girls all secretly want to look cute for class, we don’t want to look like we’re trying too hard. The products I’ve selected can be used together on a regular basis to create a gorgeous face without looking too over the top. I’ve provided links for you online shoppers but you can also find these items at your local Target, Walmart, Ulta or drugstore of your choice! This guide will help give you the look you want, without breaking your bank.
$13.23- Create your perfect glow with this 4-in-1 highlighter, blush, powder and bronzer. What else do you really need?!
$3.99 – We’ve all probably seen and used this product before. Honestly, I’ve tried dozens of drugstore mascaras and this is by far my favorite of them all. It lengthens lashes without clumping. There is nothing more disappointing when you’re doing your makeup and your lashes start to clump. No Bueno.
$7.39-9.59 (Depending on the shade) -OPI is one of my favorite brands because their range of color is fantastic. They also have come out with a Matte Top Coat so you can get Instagram worthy nails without a trip to the salon.
$5.59-6.49 ( Depending on shade)-Honestly, I’m obsessed with this. This product really does what it promises. It gave me full coverage concealer to correct my problem areas, while highlighting them as well. It really is dream-worthy.
$7.99- This eyeliner was super easy to use and the pigment was great. I like to switch up my liner from thin to thick and this pen can achieve both looks effortlessly ( Okay, maybe a little effort is required..it is eyeliner after all).
