Back To School Beauty For Babes On A Budget

Back To School Beauty: On A Budget
Whether you’ve already started classes or they’re just around the corner, I’ve got some seriously affordable back to school beauty secrets for all you babes on a budget!

There is this big misconception that all makeup products that are inexpensive either don’t work or work badly. False! While I do agree that there are certain “cheap” products that don’t work as well as the more expensive brands, that doesn’t mean all drugstore makeup is crap. I’ve personally tested out each of these items and wouldn’t recommend anything if I didn’t think it was a quality product.

While us girls all secretly want to look cute for class, we don’t want to look like we’re trying too hard. The products I’ve selected can be used together on a regular basis to create a gorgeous face without looking too over the top. I’ve provided links for you online shoppers but you can also find these items at your local Target, Walmart, Ulta or drugstore of your choice! This guide will help give you the look you want, without breaking your bank.

$5.99 -This foundation gave me great coverage while still remaining lightweight on my skin.  It uses “shade true” gel technology to enhance your skin tone for a natural                                 looking and beautiful face.
$6.89 – I can’t say enough good things about this product.  I would pay $30 for this item I swear. It adds such a great highlight and look to your skin and you can’t beat                           the price point.
$4.99 – Another NYX product I love! This gloss will leave your lips looking and feeling great. It moisturizes without that annoying stickiness of other glosses.
$1-6 per brush – Mix and match brushes to create your own set! Their kabuki brush is my favorite!
$8.99 – I can’t get enough of this palette! Stay neutral and fresh for class or wear a sexy smoky eye for a party. The color combinations are endless.
Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Makeup Palette
$13.23- Create your perfect glow with this 4-in-1 highlighter, blush, powder and bronzer. What else do you really need?!

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara: Very Black
$3.99 – We’ve all probably seen and used this product before. Honestly, I’ve tried dozens of drugstore mascaras and this is by far my favorite of them all. It lengthens                     lashes without clumping. There is nothing more disappointing when you’re doing                         your makeup and your lashes start to clump. No Bueno.

OPI Nail Lacquer
$7.39-9.59 (Depending on the shade) -OPI is one of my favorite brands because their range of color is fantastic. They also have come out with a Matte Top Coat so                       you can get Instagram worthy nails without a trip to the salon.

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
$5.59-6.49 ( Depending on shade)-Honestly, I’m obsessed with this. This product really does what it promises. It gave me full coverage concealer to correct my                                 problem areas, while highlighting them as well. It really is dream-worthy.

L Oréal Paris Black Eyeliner
$7.99- This eyeliner was super easy to use and the pigment was great. I like to switch up my liner from thin to thick and this pen can achieve both looks                                         effortlessly ( Okay, maybe a little effort is is eyeliner after all).
If you decide to try out any of these products, or have any suggestions for future posts let me know in the comments below 🙂
